19th-century Andalusian cortijo

Cortijo la Cerradilla was lovingly restored 25 years ago as a semi-retirement project. Now, with time passing, its owners are ready to hand over the baton to new creative and like-minded people who can appreciate its charm and character.

This 19th-century Andalusian estate is surrounded by olive trees, palm trees, and peace. Access is easy via a country track from the main road between Lucainena and Níjar, which crosses the Vía Verde — a charming local trail, perfect for walking or cycling and leading to the village on foot in about 30 minutes through nature.

The cortijo retains the rustic soul of the region, with thick walls, exposed beams, and a natural coolness in summer.

It offers three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a bright kitchen-dining area, and a cosy living room with a wood-burning stove. Several terraces surround the house, some covered, with an outdoor kitchen and a dining area for year-round use.

Next to the main house is a spacious independent studio, currently used as a music and film projection room, with great potential as a guest apartment.
